Finish What You Start

So I've been working on a new story. It's something I've wanted to write for a few years and it's been percolating around in my mind now and again. I finally got something down and realize that it's a lot bigger than I thought. I wanted a short little story and suddenly I've discovered that it's this big thing that's been hiding underground, waiting for me to find it. Now I've got to finish it, because one of my only rules for writing is that you've got to finish what you start. That's the only way to learn.
