Advice to myself - Carve out the time to write and put an electric fence around it. This book has got to get written.
I am going to spend a year pushing my creative boundaries and sharing the results.

I'm Ready to Write
I've got a new book boiling over on the stove and I should really start writing it immediately, but I have about six other pots boiling over at the same time. I can only assume that most writers in the past have been in the same situation, so what did they do? Did they say, "The heck with it!" and let the other pots boil over? Were they just better at handling all of the pots at once? It's something that I'd like to look into. I bet I'll find that some of them just let everything else boil over and had a wreck of a life while producing tons of great books, others probably were great at multitasking and were able to produce a few books despite all the other distractions, while others couldn't handle it all and didn't do much of anything. So far I've been able to fit into the second group, but it's getting harder to handle all those boiling pots, especially when you feel like you're juggling them.
